CLAUDE'S KITCHEN

Leicester Square, London
Modern European Restaurant, All day dining

Claude’s Kitchen is a restaurant interior design project in Leicester Square, London, conceived as a calm courtyard-inspired dining environment within a dense urban setting.

The design balances multiple dining zones with a restrained material palette, combining natural textures, greenery, and controlled lighting to create a relaxed smart-casual hospitality atmosphere.

Dining Areas

The dining spaces are organised as a sequence of interconnected zones, combining banquette seating, open tables, and private dining rooms. Skylights introduce natural light throughout, enhancing spatial depth and reinforcing a sense of openness within the interior.

Brickwork, greenery, and soft lighting are used to create variation in atmosphere across each dining area, while maintaining visual consistency throughout the space.

Bar Area

The entrance bar defines the arrival experience, characterised by a curved counter, turquoise tile detailing, and warm pendant lighting. The composition establishes a clear transition from exterior to interior dining environment.

Material contrast between brick, metal, and glass creates a relaxed yet refined hospitality setting, balancing durability with visual warmth.

Material & Details

A restrained palette of brick, metal, and bespoke joinery runs throughout the space. Custom elements such as reeded glass and integrated shelving introduce texture and craftsmanship, supporting a consistent but layered interior language.
