A Celebrated Independent Art Cinema in Covent Garden
From initial concept design through to completion, the cinema was designed in an eclectic art deco style, using theatrical lighting and a rich palette of materials and moody colours to create an intimate, highly unique space. The design merges the elegance of art deco cinema with modern cinema design, offering an immersive and memorable experience for visitors.
A striking centrepiece bar serves as the focal point, surrounded by a variety of characterful spaces, including alcoves and tunnels, ideal for guests to relax, enjoy drinks, and discuss films. Each area is thoughtfully crafted to provide an exclusive atmosphere that encourages connection and contemplation.
To achieve this vision, bespoke elements were integrated throughout the design, with many features realised by talented artists and specialised trades. The owner’s personality and vision were central to the project, ensuring the design reflects their tastes while providing an exceptional art deco cinema experience.
