A celebrated independent art cinema in Covent Garden.

From initial concept through to completion, the cinema was designed in an eclectic Art Deco language, using theatrical lighting and a rich palette of materials and moody tones to create an intimate and highly distinctive space. The design merges the elegance of classic Art Deco cinema with a contemporary cinematic experience, offering an immersive and memorable environment for visitors.

 

A striking centrepiece bar acts as the focal point, surrounded by a series of characterful spaces, including alcoves and tunnel-like seating, designed for guests to relax, enjoy drinks, and discuss films. Each area is carefully composed to create an atmosphere that encourages connection and contemplation.

 

Bespoke elements are integrated throughout, with features realised by specialist craftspeople and artists. The owner’s personality and vision were central to the design, ensuring the cinema reflects its identity while delivering a unique Art Deco experience.
